About Recovering Hands Trust
Recovering Hands Trust is a humanitarian non-profit organization committed to uplifting lives and restoring hope for the underprivileged across Chennai and Tamil Nadu. Founded with a simple belief—that every person deserves dignity, care, and the opportunity to live a healthy and meaningful life—we work tirelessly to support individuals and families facing poverty, hunger, and hardship.
Our Mission
Our mission is to reach out to the needy with empathy and actionable support. We strive to bridge the gap between those who want to help and those who desperately need assistance, ensuring that compassion is transformed into real change.
What We Do
Recovering Hands Trust provides essential aid to vulnerable communities through various initiatives, including:
• Food Distribution: Supplying nutritious meals and groceries to families, the homeless, and individuals struggling to meet daily food needs.
• Clothing Support: Collecting and distributing clean, usable clothes to children, adults, and senior citizens who lack basic necessities.
• Medical Assistance: Offering essential medical supplies, basic healthcare support, and facilitating access to treatment for those who cannot afford it.
• Emergency Relief: Providing immediate assistance during natural disasters, health crises, or personal emergencies.
• Community Support Programs: Conducting awareness drives, livelihood support, and other welfare activities to improve the overall well-being of marginalized communities.
Our Vision
We envision a society where no one is left behind—where compassion guides action, and every individual can rise above their circumstances with dignity and hope. Our goal is to expand our reach and impact, touching more lives across Tamil Nadu and eventually beyond.
Our Commitment
At Recovering Hands Trust, transparency, accountability, and kindness form the foundation of everything we do. With the support of generous donors, volunteers, and well-wishers, we continue to build a network of care for those who need it the most.
